Anju Lama, an MPhil graduate in education with 19 years of teaching experience, is currently serving at Gyanodaya Secondary School, Kalimati, Kathmandu. She has undergone various prestigious training programs, including Teacher Professional Development (TPD) from the Nepal Government, ICT, Capacity Building Training in South Korea, and a GCED workshop facilitated by CEHRD in collaboration with South Korea. She is the author of English Grammar and Composition for grades XI and XII, and her research contributions include Teacher Agency in Creating Translingual Space in Nepal's Multilingual English Medium School (RELC Journal) and Project Work is the Best Pedagogical Practice for Teaching and Learning (a success story). Her accolades include the Best Teacher Award in Bagmati Province (PP Prasain Foundation, 2019), the English Teacher Award from Kathmandu Metropolitan (2022) for achieving high GPAS in English among public schools, and the International School Award from the British Council for coordinating national and international activities. As a teacher, she has facilitated ICT capacity-building training and workshops on designing effective teaching-learning materials, making her a trailblazer in integrating technology and innovation in education.
